Darn! The story is too short. I want more. I don't understand why Donna Grant didn't make this in a full blown novel. It has so many potentials to make it so. The theme and concept of this book is almost like the Dark Warriors, but it evolves on shape shifters (i.e. dragons). I wonder if this series is interlinked to Dark Warriors since the location is the same. Hmmm...a possibility that I must await. I would give this book at least one more star if the author had bothered to get an editor. It's rife with typos and even has a whole section where a paragraph comes to a abrupt end, the result of untidy rearranging and no double checking. This makes the author seem like she's simply trying to crank out as many volumes as she can as fast as she can, without regard for quality or respect for her work. I've seen amateurs with more polish.That said, if you can overlook all the errors you may enjoy her stories. We can hope she will hire an editor in the future.
