DNF @ 47%.I was curios about the Steele Series so I decided to pick this up. The H was very much into the h but suddenly turned on her and started insulting her. He claimed to be devoted but had no problem abandoning her. I didn't buy his feelings for the h. Plus, the h was a virgin but behaved so overtly sexual that it didn't make sense. There are scenes where the h's mom keeps looking at the H's butt. That is disgusting!! Authors make this mistake all the time. They want to prove their H or h is really hot so they go overboard at the amount and type of attention the character receives from others. Let me put it another way, what if it was the H's father looking at the h's butt? Gross, right? Furthermore, the H's brothers find the h's panties and pass them around sniffing them. That is so wrong!!!! They also act like sexual deviants. I am on the fence about reading the next book. You know, I have to say that I liked this one. It kept me reading til the end.I really liked Jase's character and the way he developed throughout. (He's your typical badass alpha. That swears A LOT!) Carly, she was a bit of whiner for me, but still a good, well developed character. The storyline was ok. I feel like it could have been done a little better. (Only because some parts were a little hard to follow. It jumped around quite a bit and I sometimes felt as though I was missing something.)All in all, it was a good read. I would recommend it to others.
What do You think about Jase (2013)?
Reading the series and have loved each and every one of the Steel Men.
