I am definitely ready for the alien invasion. I do not normally read sci-fi erotica but this was quite the read. I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend to all to branch out a bit and look in a book that may not be the norm for you. You just never know what you will find.I would love to have given 5 stars but I did find there was too much description in the story. And description is good but there is a line. This went over that line and then some. I found my mind wanting to skip over the repetitive descriptions throughout the read. I am all for describing something but she described the same thing repeatedly and that to me is boring.Once you get past that, the story was in depth, original, intriguing and refreshing. I will definitely be reading on as you should as well!!! I am giving this 2 stars for originality in regards to science fiction. I'm sure others have done this story before but this is my first. What I didn't like? The heroine. She is an idiot. I am all for naive but she was ridiculous. Her major is psychology but she manages to justify and rationalize her unhealthy relationship to her friends. Listening to her own description it sounded like the hero was an abuser of the normal kind. He controls everything. Cuts off friends and family. Where she studies, what she eats and wears. Now mind you this is pretty normal for my style books...I Tarzan you Jane caveman type, but don't make her into a psych person who hasn't a clue. She helps the resistance on no evidence. Again, she is a psych major and 22 but she jumps all into thousands of people dying, her boyfriend being deported and a whole civilization being relocated based on ones mans 3 minute conversation. Doesn't bother to verify anything. if it's that easy to recruit people it's no wonder the war on terror keeps losing. This was all started because she didn't want to be his chartel? She was told it was a sex slave but I'm sure Google would of told her. I was honestly confused because she was voluntarily his sex toy anyways?! The big stupid moment when she is spying on her alien "genius" boyfriend, I did mention GENIUS? it never occurred to this 22 year old college student that he might have surveillance cameras or some type of monitoring system!? No, she was just afraid of him remembering the exact location of his chairs!!! Forgot to mention this shy, innocent, scared and I can't talk to anyone suddenly is a spy and can lie like a pro!? The hero. Well for a alien he was not bad. I hated they way he always put her down. Except for referring to her intelligence. I was completely agreeing with him by the end of the book. My issue? I have no clue why he wanted her? She had no redeeming qualities. They had some special alien bond? I guess. I will not be reading the next one.
