Everyone stared at her and the trainees were showing up but staying outside instead of going in. Her eyes searched around, finding Becky, who offered her a reassuring nod. She had no idea what to do. This stuff just happened. She’d never really tried to call upon it until last night. Her breathing sped up, which was especially weird as she was a vampire. She hadn’t had a panic attack since being turned and she felt one coming on. Blaze stood with his arms crossed just watching her, which honestly was driving her nuts. That was all he did, watch her, constantly.
    Gulping, she felt as if her throat was closing. Oh, God. She really was going to have a panic attack in front of everybody.
    “Hey, you okay?” Becky moved closer to her and whispered.
    Shaking her head, Katrina looked over at Becky and wished she was more like her, like anyone else other than herself.
