It took a while to read all three books of the series, but WELL WORTH the time! The story of Isabel ("Isa") and Dylan is amazingly yummy!!! The baggage these two have, especially Isa, is seriously worth some time on a counselor's couch. WTF? I have to admit I said, on more than one occasion, out loud "ASS HOLE!!!" when Isa would remember things about her father while growing up. Sick bastard. And that Erika Beotch?? She seriously needed her ass kicked on so many occasions! And Dylan's receptionist, NUT JOB! And we cannot forget Sawyer. He's such a good man, everyone needs a BFF like him ... don't we??? ;-) OK, I'll admit that there were a couple of the scene when Master Dylan was in complete control that made me cringe and say "What the F***"!" (pain and I are NOT friends, just sayin!) but then "Mistress Isabel" would make an appearance and I would think, "Take THAT Dylan!" Gawd, I LOVED it when she would come out to play!Anyway, if you enjoy a book with A LOT of BDSM scene that make you feel anywhere from wanting to jump your hubby/significant other's bones to slightly uncomfortable to wanting to kick a guys ass, this book is for you!! And if you like a story with a switch, you'll really love this one! The love story is awesome, but the sex ... OFF THE CHARTS! And there's LOTS of it!!Here's my only complaint ... The Epilogue. I feel like a broken record here but when you're invested as much as I was after reading all three books back-to-back-to-back, that Epilogue was a complete and total let down! Seriously, after everthing they went through THAT'S how you're going to end it? Seriously disappointed and the ONLY thing that held me from giving this series 5 stars! I am STINGY with them and Ella was SOOOO close!!! Wow what an intense but addictive read. This book drew me in from the beginning to the end. Isa and Dylan were both some kind of screwed up alone but together they excelled in each other living the D/s lifestyle. Dylan the sadist with a touch of submissiveness and Isa the masochist with an underlying touch of Domme in her. They balanced each other in and out of the dungeon. I love how entailed the author took the reader into their lives and the explicit scenes in the book were fantastic. One of the best BDSM themed books I've read to date.
What do You think about The Art Of D/s Trilogy (2000)?
I enjoyed the progression of the story. The BDSM was intense at times and well written.
