Emily Rodda does not disappoint her readers of Rondo with this book #2 "The Wizard of Rondo. I'm amazed with her writing and how she can take; talking pigs, chickens, and ducks; a flying carpet; a person turned into a mushroom and even a cooking kettle with separation anxiety and make it all a fun read.Even for an old guy like me (73) it is fun to read her creation and I have no problem with her characters. It takes a real artist to do that. In this book the "heroes" of the quest are out to solve the mystery of a missing wizard. But if you think the characters of talking animals is a little too simple for you, I assure you that you will not figure this one out until it is explained to you at the end. Enjoy another fabulous quest by Rodda. I really don't like starting sequels to books, because they always have an overview at the beginning about the previous book which I find extremely boring, but luckily Emily Rodda made the overview interesting and quick. This book starts off well getting interesting fast which is good. This book is still completely from Leo's point of view (at least so far), and although I think it would be nice to hear from Mimi's point of view once I think that Leo is a greatly developed character. This book was great, and just has hard to put down as the first one! :)!
What do You think about Wizard Of Rondo, The (2012)?
This was okay but after the first book pretty dull.
