I so enjoyed this book. Lily Ivory, new to San Francisco, has a darling vintage clothing store. She's a real deal Witch, who finds herself getting rid of demons and bad spirits. Lily has help of a Wiccan Coven, a handsome male Witch~~no, they are not called Warlocks, a San Fran policeman, and a hunky journalist/mythbuster. This book is a very interesting read, as was the first book in this series. I'm looking forward to the next one. This second book in the Witchcraft series picked up where the first ended, and gave the reader an intriguing glimpse into her own past, in the person of her mysterious, missing father. We are reminded again that Graciela is not her blood relative, but in all the ways that count is her grandmother. We are reminded again that Lily is very powerful.However, with her power is a sort of innocent charm, as she is aware of her power, but has not received the proper training on how to harness it and use it properly. Like many teens, she rebelled against school, even though in her case it was witchy school, and took off on her own to explore the world. That leaves her vulnerable, but still a good person. In this book we get another glimpse of her troubled and lonely youth, and see her eager grasping at the company of friends. Its exciting, fun, and believable, and I can't wait to read the next one!
