I actually first read this book about a year ago. I think this is my favorite of the series so far, maybe because I've become so invested in the characters. I still can't decide whether I like Aidan or not, and I like the relationship developing between Lily and Sailor. However, I still think Oscar is my favorite character...even though he's part goblin. part gargoyle, he's such a whiner, rather like a petulant toddler. I really enjoyed the mystery plot in this book, it kept me guessing. My biggest problem with this book is Aiden, for somebody that's supposed to be so powerful he certainly does a lot of hiding. First he ditches Lily (yes, ditched, if you don't tell someone you have to leave, your ditched), then he wants her to check into things but will tell her nothing that he knows that might be helpful. Frankly she needs to ditch him. Otherwise I enjoyed all the other characters and the plot line was something different than find a dead body, I liked that twist. I will stick with this series to see how things develop especially since this one ended with a little cliff hanger.
What do You think about In A Witch's Wardrobe (2012)?
