After the previous books and the compelling stories of Issac and Lilli and Show and Shannon it was always going to be a hard act to follow. The love story of Horde Information Man, Bart and Hollywood starlet, Riley Chase wasn't perhaps as strong. But the underlying problems of the Club moving forward after the Lawrence Ellis incident and the tragedy that unfolds with the powerful Scorpions MC and internal betrayal within the Club, more than makes up for it. It has been Bart Elstad’s (the Night Horde Intelligence Officer and resident hacker) job to glean the internet for any news on the movie and how it pertains to the Horde and whether or not it could hurt them, or their allies. He is also the member that is most excited about the movie and in particular the actress who will play Lilli.Riley Chase has grown up in the show business since she started at 4 years old. At age 26, she has mainly stuck to “fluff” roles and is currently in a TV show where she is high school student. She is excited to take on a role that will be challenging to her and one that will also be different.When the Hollywood actors are sent to Signal Bend to shadow the real life person of who they will portray, Riley finds that she is glad to pretty much be an anonymous person, who doesn’t have to worry about the paparazzi and the gossip rags. She begins to discover who she is under her image of RILEY CHASE, ACTRESS.Bart & Riley start up a relationship which is just meant to be a fling that lasts for the duration of her visit. But they quickly become more attached to each other, spending time together, and spending their nights together. They have a pretty hot fling up until the actors, actresses and their assistants are rushed off to the airport in the middle of the night. They also realize that they are deeper into each other than they ever expected to be. Then we are left with questions of how will they work out a relationship? Will Riley give up her career and move to Signal Bend? Or will Bart give up the Night Horde and move to L.A.?Due to the tensions that have been running through the club, the Horde MC are trying to keep a lid on things within the club and protecting everyone’s secrets so that they don’t come out during the Hollywood movie. There are betrayals that aren’t so shocking, but the devastation that those betrayals wreak on the Horde are immensely horrific, run deep and will affect readers who have been reading and loving this series.To preserve and protect the Night Horde MC, Bart has some very tough decisions to make, and they are made with a heavy heart, dark thoughts and tears. I actually cried myself during this time. I got choked up and got a rock in my throat. It really hit me hard.I’m glad that Riley and Bart got their HEA, but wow, my how things change. The ending leaves and opening for the next full book in the series (there is a novella of Isaac & Lilli in between books 4 & 5) for Havoc’s story in book 5.

Loved Bart and the story of the Horde. Not too sure about Riley and the Hollywood scenario.

3.5 stars! It's a good book but I guess it doesn't top Isaac's and Show's stories.
