Beautiful.Absolutely beautiful. This series has been all over the place, but this book hits everything the way it should. It is incredibly sad. I think I cried at almost every page from around the 65% mark. This was ugly ugly crying. Soaked through tissues And I could not put it down. It's also extremely violent. Other books in this series have used violence much much more. Some of the others especially book 3 seemed to use it as shock value only. I personally think that violence went too far.Yet book 7 finally gets the balance right. Oh it's still got violence alright but now with some closure. Badger is one hell of a character. Broken and down he finally gets to live again through Adrienne. We finally get some resolution to that shock in the previous book through Badge and Nolan. This has to be one of the best books I've read this year. And that Issac & Lilli novella at the end. Bloody hell. No words. Just Incredible. 5 Leave Me Breathless StarsI have so enjoyed every single book in this series. Even the jaw dropping, heart hurting, OMG noooooooo, heat inducing and ugly crying moments. I LOVED it all. The characters hook you in from the start and I thought Adrienne and Badger were a perfect balance to the more mature characters in the books. The ending of the series with Lilly and Isaac was perfect. Cannot recommend this series highly enough. It really is a tale of Brotherhood at its finest.P.s. I really hope Ms Fanetti does write about the SoCal boys......
One of my favorite series ever. So sad to see it end.
