Move The Sun (2013) - Plot & Excerpts

Can I just say boring? *Yaaaaawn*It was an ok book, nothing special though. I didn't fall in love with any of the characters, I didn't even liked them. Isaac was supposed to be a badass alpha male - he wasn't (except in the bedroom)Lilli was supposed to be badass heroine - she wasn't (except in the bedroom)Well what can you expect of the story where there are constant sex scenes and the plot seems non existent in comparison.I won't be reading the next book, I am not really interested what happens next. That's it, I'm done.*Yaaaawn* 3.5 STARS - I REALLY ENJOYED ITA friend recommended this book to me and I was intrigued but also unsure. I tend to be drawn to MC books but am usually disappointed by them. Lately I've stayed away because I just don't want to put myself through another bad read. In my experience MC romances usually have one or all of the following: major editing issues, the story and/or dialogue is cheesy or weak, the guys cheat or blatantly flirt with other women, there is lots of boring sex and the "story" is non-existent or really lame.Still, for some reason I am drawn to MC romances, always hoping that I'll find one that will be worth the read. Well, my friend assured me that there would be no cheating and that there was a good story so I decided to give it a go. I'm glad I did. This is a story about Isaac and Lilli.... Isaac is an MC president of a little town in the middle of nowhere.... Lilli is new to town and we the reader know that she is there for a mission. Isaac likes to be well informed of everything that goes on in his town so he's immediately drawn to her. He's very attracted to her physically but he quickly sees that she is strong and confident and that appeals to him too. But he knows that she has secrets and he's determined to learn what they are. Isaac has a lot on his plate and Lilli is determined to accomplish her goal but along the way the two find that they really want each other as well. This is not a perfect book but it was really enjoyable. I liked both characters very much. There was a lot of sex but it was different each time and each time served as a means to further/strengthen their relationship or to move the story forward. It wasn't monotonous. Also, the background story was believable and interesting... it didn't feel like it was only there as an after thought because there needed to be a setup for sex. The story was planned out and fully developed. There were some editing mistakes but nothing that pulled me out of the story. The relationship moved along at a believable pace. It was enjoyable. For those that like to know these things ahead of time, there are basically two major issues taking place in this book. One of the issues gets resolved by the end of the book but the other issue is only really getting started by the end and will continue in book 2. If you are interested by MC romances and want one that is a solid read this would be a good one to check out.Thank you Celeste for the recommendation.
