It was more like a 3.5 star book rather than just a 3 star, as I did enjoy the book.It kept my interest from the start. The characters were all very different although each seemed a little too dramatic for the circumstances each faced. The biggest negative for me came with the ending. It seemed rushed as though the writer suddenly tired of writing and just wanted it over quickly. I was left feeling let down. This was a fairly light but satisfying read, again about sisters and their bond and how a family pulls together when there is a trial and illness...Of course too, a romance and all taking place in a historic home in lowcountry that is also the town's bookstore....Enjoyed this book alot , my second one read of this author. I love how she writes of Lowcountry. I was there in Edisto Beach when I read this.
Such a great book -- I love that it's based in a book store on a small coastal town!
