If You're Reading This, It's Too Late (2008) - Plot & Excerpts
"If You're Reading This, It's Too Late" by Pseudonymous Bosch, continues the brilliant and exciting story of the 'always' prepared Cassandra and the odd but entertaining Max-Ernest on their quest to help the Tecres society. New characters are also introduced like the "new kid from Japan", Yo-Yoji. Yo-Yoji befriends Cassandra and Max-Ernest and helps them on their journey and plays the electric guitar and, in my opinion, has a good taste of music when he played a song by Jimi Hendrix. Also, they are reunited with Owen and get introduced to many other members of the Terces Society. As the other book, I would recommend this book to anyone 11 or older. If you read this book you will get hooked from the very begging and most likely finish the series. Realized as I was reading “This Book Is Not Good for You” that I started, but never finished “If You're Reading This It's Too Late” so I decided it was about time that I finished it. The narrator is just as irreverent and funny as ever, I just wasn’t into the story very much, (obviously since I didn’t even remember that I hadn’t finished the book before starting the 3rd one). A fun, completely clean read that I am sure 3rd-5th graders would love.
