Summary of Novel: Nikki Maxwell, a dork, was going to a concert with her friends. They had backstage passes to meet the singers and meet Trevor Chase, the producer of 25 Minutes of Fame TV show. With her luck, her arch rival, Mackenzie, came, too. She spilled a bottle of water on Nikki's friend Zoey, and when they were trying to dry her, Mackenzie stole the Backstage passes and used them as fake IDS. Nikki and her group snuck in as dancers, and got backstage, and then got caught. They got to meet Trevor Chase, and Nikki ended up getting her own TV show. Through the book, it shows the struggles of her trying to balance her busy schedule, and helping her crush Brandon get a scholarship. In the end she ends up getting a kiss from her crush, and gets him the scholarship.Main Characters and Descriptions: Nikki: A dork that writes in her diary all the time, has he own TV show and worries about everything from school to boys, with an annoying embarrassing family always on her nerves. She leaves Nikki alone at the listening party, but she said revenge is coming that Monday at school. My opinion of the book: It's a funny, silly book, and it is really good if you like diary entries and girly drama.Recommendation: Yes, to anyone that likes drama or diary entries. This book was a fairly good book, and it is written in diary form about a girl the same age as I am. Nikki is the main character who has been discovered by the famous producer of her favorite boy band. He offers her a television show of her life. The cameras follow her every move and when her crush Brandon walks up the cameraman makes a huge deal. Will her show make it? Will her relationship with Brandon be ruind? I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to keep their eyes glued to a book.
