Are Muslims bent on taking over the planet? This book certainly shows how this might play out. So what do we see on the news everyday... hmmm? This is book two in Rosenberg's series about an Endtimes like false Messiah coming to unite all of the Islamic followers on the planet. Is this fiction? Not according to many Muslims I have chatted with. I enjoyed the Hope and Salvation shown in Joel's story. To see Muslim's and atheists come to Christ warms the heart (even if the world is blowing up all around them.)I don't know if this story can even end - What does the Bible say? I'm not sure this 12th Imam is actually the Anti-Christ, I would expect more from him. I happened to come across this book while looking for new political thriller book to read. Since I've read all of Fince Flynn, I thought I would give the The Tehran Initiative a try.I can't vouch for other readers but this book was all too real in the world we live today. Imagine waking up and turning on your t.v to find that Iran nuclear program is full steam ahead, and they have developed nuclear weapons. Which if I may point out, they are already do so.In the novel the President's administration is very concerned that Israel may bomb Iran first, setting off a nuclear Holocaust in a preemptive strike. The president sends in a C.I.A operative to deliberately destroy Iran's nuclear warheads preventing a WW3.This book was page turner, with a little boring spots here and there, but was a great read. I do recommended this book if your are a huge political thriller fan such as myself.
