Wow! hard to read/rate/review this book. I had no idea who Joel Rosenberg was before I read the book. Typical thriller until about 1/2 way through the book & then it became a Christian evangelical treatise. It was actually a cut above in writing & character development. But what a disappointment in the 2nd half. I kept reading hoping that it would all pull together into some reason for the introduction of Christian polemic. Oh, well. On to the next. Islam end times theology, kill mame torture innocents mandatory dissidents kill opposition questioned religion, 500K children to walk Iraq mine fields 8 year war, cleansing needed from support for soviet then not, lost way in 6 day war, BinLaden father choices 22 wives 54 children at 16 chose other, 01 Iran nuclear reactor taken out by Israel, Iran telecom, kill Iraq Arab, win friends influence people use for own purpose via cia, a paper tiger unwilling to use nuclear weapons, ud3 trigger, evil rising, clash of good vs evil, Islam is works based, more to JC in 3 decades than 14 centuries, soviet mad program vs Iranian 72 virgins, sign of crucifixion, of love vs hate, love enemies pray for persecutors, way truth life to save world, false messiahs profits teachers, statement against interest alert, heal injured vs prevent injury, love hate white black, Aaron’s staff consumed other serpents.
What do You think about The Twelfth Imam (2010)?
Despite some questionable theology, it was a decent enough read I will probably read the sequel.

A good prequel to the series - I like the main character - it's a semi-page turner
